Psycho-Educational Evaluations

Dr. Mather and Dr. Huggins are certified School Psychologists, as well as licensed Psychologists, able to conduct comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations. A “standard” psycho-educational evaluation comprises an in-depth social and developmental history of the individual, cognitive assessment, comprehensive academic assessment, and a test of visual-motor ability. If there are behavioral concerns as part of the referral question, or should behavioral concerns arise from the evaluation process, a comprehensive social-emotional evaluation can also be completed. Dr. Huggins and Dr. Mather are extensively trained and able to evaluate for Autistic Disorder, Asperger’s Disorder, Mild/Moderate/Profound or Severe Intellectual disabilities, Emotional Disability, as well as all of the remaining 10 categories of special education eligibility categories. Dr. Mather and Dr. Huggins are also available for consultation with special education or other school personnel to advocate for the student, as well as attend meetings with the parents at the school should that need arise to ensure the student receives the services to which they are entitled should they meet eligibility criteria. As part of the evaluation process, the parents are afforded a “feed-back” session, if they choose to participate in one, to share the data gathered from the evaluation so they have a better understanding of their student and how they can help them at home. Extensive recommendations are included in the evaluation reports for consideration by school personnel and parents alike.


School Psychology

Trilogy Clinicians are available to conduct Independent Educational Evaluation and/or consult on special education compliance.  We are also prepared submit proposals (RFP’s) for school psychology services to both charter and private schools.   Collectively, Trilogy clinicians have more than 20 years experience working as on-site school psychologists, compliance consultants, and independent educational evaluators.  Dr. Mather is a Diplomate with the American Board of School Neuropsychologists
